The Northern Cape Department of Education in partnership with Stellenbosch University hosted the Talent Development Programme (TDP) for 40 Grade 11 and 40 Grade 12 Top Achieving learners in Mathematics and Physical Science. The aim of this programme is to give support to 80 identified Grade 11 and 12 learners who intend to pursue science-related studies at higher education institutions.

The TDP Smart class will issue all identified learners with a smart device as well as data as they will offer lessons via a virtual platform in a bid to curb the COVID -19 risk presented with contact lessons. Learners also receive stationery.

Good luck to the following boys who have been selected for the 2021 programme: Grade 11 Sabelo Sithole, Tendaishe Mhuriro

Grade 12 Tumelo Thole, Aphiwe Faas, Claude Marekwa, Khwezi Mabija
