The 2021 event was held on Saturday 23 October 2021. To adhere to the COVID-19 protocols the event was held outdoors. This was also to accommodate the many learners who were getting recognition and their parents who came to support them. The event was combined with the Colours and Merit Awards. Many prizes were prepared for the learners who have shown that adversity (COVID-19) is not a deterrent when it comes to their educational success. The school has been using the alternating method with learners split into Group A and B to manage the numbers of learners present at school at any given time with the exception of the matrics who have attended school every day since the beginning of the year.

The two guest speakers, Ms Nicole Morris, the Dean of Students at Sol Plaatje University, and Mr Gagayi the Commissioner for SASCOC & 1st VP of University Sports SA gave relevant and thought-provoking talks.

The top learners in each grade received a laptop each, compliments of Zecha Holdings cc. A warm thank you to all companies that made the event the success it was, Frost Co Pty Ltd, Nedbank, Diskonto Stationery Kimberley, Vorx, Dr Sean Bosman, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo, the William Humphreys Art Gallery, Sakam Consultants, the KHSOBU and the KHS Development Trust.

From GOOD to GREAT!
